What to Know Before the Party
Clear details about link access, host moderation, photo quality, album contents, retention, and the display setup.
Unlisted access by link or TV code
Event pages are unlisted and blocked from search engines. Anyone with the event link can open the guest page and, while guest uploads are open, join the event. The six-character TV code opens the approved-photo slideshow. Treat both as access credentials and share them only with intended attendees or display operators.
Approved photos appear in the event's shared gallery and TV slideshow. Access is limited to the event experience, but people who can view the event may still save or share photos.
The host can view all event photos for moderation. The site operator also has restricted administrative access when needed to run the service, provide support, or respond to misuse.
Host controls for the public wall
Choose pre-approval during setup and every guest photo waits as "pending" until you approve it. Or choose auto-approve for a trusted crowd and photos can go live as soon as they are uploaded.
From the moderation panel you can approve, hide, or permanently delete a photo on your phone or laptop. Hiding removes it from the slideshow and shared gallery without deleting the stored file; deleting removes it for good.
For a host-curated slideshow, turn guest uploads off and add the photos yourself. New guest registrations and new upload starts are blocked, the guest QR disappears from the TV, and an upload already in progress may finish cleanly.
Simple for guests
Guests scan the QR code or open the event link, add their display name, complete the event acknowledgements, and upload from their phone's browser. There's no app to download or guest account to create.
Photos are optimized on the guest's phone before upload to reduce transfer time and data use on venue Wi-Fi or a cellular connection.
The freeform crop starts with a centered 16:9 TV frame and remains fully adjustable. Guests can also add a short message, while the stored album photo remains uncropped.
Download the event album
Download approved and hidden photos as a ZIP, ready to back up, share, or print. Pending photos are excluded until the host approves them.
Uploads are optimized before storage for reliable transfers. Cropping is non-destructive, so the ZIP contains the stored optimized photo rather than the TV crop.
There is currently no automatic event expiry. Photos remain available until the host deletes a photo or the event, but hosts should still download a backup they want to keep.
What you need at the venue
Plan for a TV or projector, a supported way to open or mirror the wall, and a workable internet connection for live guest uploads.
Chromecast / Google TV is the easiest display route. A TV browser, AirPlay, or an HDMI-connected laptop may work better for your room and equipment.
Test the exact phone, display, cable or casting path, approval mode, and QR placement before guests arrive. Keep the guest link available in the group chat as a useful backup.
Plan for confidence, then enjoy the room.
Choose the access and approval setup that fits your gathering, test it, and keep a separate album backup afterward.
