FunParty! is built for people 18 years of age or older. We do not direct the service to, or knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.

What We Collect

Hosts provide account information from their sign-in provider, such as a display name, email address, or Apple private-relay address, plus event details such as event name, host name, date, and age acknowledgements. Hosts may also add guest names to an event planning list. Guests who join through an event link provide a display name, uploaded photos, optional photo messages, age/event acknowledgements, and terms acceptance records. Signed-in hosts who use the beta feedback form provide a feedback category, title, message, optional page context, their account identity, and whether they permit a follow-up email.

Email Communications

We may use your account email for support replies and important service notices, such as account security, policy changes, and photo-expiration notices when expiration is enabled. Signing in or accepting our Terms does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Optional newsletters and product updates require a separate opt-in. You can unsubscribe from those messages using the unsubscribe option in the email.

Payments And Purchased Add-ons

Stripe processes web payments and collects the payment and billing details you provide at checkout under its Privacy Policy. FunParty! stores limited order records, including your account identifier, purchased items, event identifier, price, discount reference, payment status, and Stripe transaction identifiers. We use them to verify payments, provide your purchased features, prevent duplicate grants, and handle refunds. We do not store your full card number or card security code. Event photos and guest lists are not sent to Stripe.

Event album unlocks and unused-boost records remain while your account is active and are removed when the account is deleted. Limited transaction records may remain after account deletion for accounting, refunds, fraud prevention, and legal requirements.

Usage And Analytics

If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics may collect page views and standard browser, device, and traffic information to help us understand visits and improve FunParty! Our page-view tracking excludes guest and TV event pages, removes query strings, and replaces host event IDs with a generic label. Referrers are limited to their site origin. We disable Google advertising signals and advertising personalization in our tag configuration.

Our server also records limited product events such as guest registration, photo upload, moderation, guest deletion, and album download. These records may include event or photo identifiers and technical details such as file type or size, but not photo bytes or guest names and email addresses.

Cookies And Browser Storage

Cookies are small values a website stores in your browser and can receive again on later visits. Local storage is another way to remember information in that browser, including after you close it. FunParty! uses essential browser storage for features such as sign-in, guest sessions, security, and remembering your privacy choice. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from creating an event or sharing photos.

Analytics is off until you select Accept cookies. Before then, we do not load Google Analytics or save campaign and referral attribution in your browser. Accepting permits Google Analytics cookies (including _ga and _ga_ cookies) and local storage describing how you found FunParty! Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. Campaign and referral attribution is used for up to 30 days and may be attached to an event you create.

We remember your choice in this browser for 180 days, then ask again. You can change it at any time using Cookie settings below or in the footer. Rejecting analytics stops further collection by our Google Analytics tag and removes accessible FunParty! analytics cookies and saved browser attribution, including cookies left by earlier visits. It does not erase information already collected. If browser storage is blocked, your choice applies only to the current page session. Clearing browser storage or using a different browser means you will be asked again.

Technical And Security Information

Our hosting and authentication providers, including Google Cloud and Firebase, process IP addresses and technical information when you use FunParty! Hosting request logs may include your IP address, browser and operating system information, requested URL, referring page, request time, and response status. Authentication records include your account identifier, sign-in provider, account creation and sign-in times, and email verification status when available. We also use hashed request identifiers for rate limiting.

We use these records to run and troubleshoot the service, investigate suspicious signups or requests, prevent spam and abuse, and enforce our Terms. Authorized service operators may review these records for those purposes. We do not use security IP records for advertising or to determine your precise physical location. An IP address or successful sign-in does not establish a person's identity.

Who Can See Your Photos

Event pages are unlisted and blocked from search engines, but they are credential-accessible rather than invitation-gated. Anyone with the event link can open the guest page and, while guest uploads are open, join the event. The six-character TV code opens the approved-photo slideshow. Hosts should share links, QR codes, and TV codes only with intended attendees or display operators.

Approved photos can appear in the event’s shared gallery and TV slideshow. Hosts can also view pending and hidden photos in their moderation dashboard. Site administrator accounts can see account information, basic event details, and activity counts. Administrator status does not grant access to another host's photos, albums, guest links, or display codes, and does not grant the ability to manage their photo collection.

Photo access is limited to the event experience, but anyone who can view a photo may still save or share a copy.

Storage And Security

Photos are optimized in the browser before upload, and camera metadata such as EXIF is not preserved. Event information and image files are stored using managed cloud services with encryption in transit and at rest. Access controls limit direct file access, and hosts can hide or delete photos from their Host Hub at any time.

We operate FunParty! on standard cloud infrastructure, which means the service technically processes your photos in order to display, compress, moderate, and export them. We do not sell your photos, use them to train models, show them in advertising, or share them outside your event.

Minimum Age

FunParty! is intended for people 18 years of age or older. Hosts and guests are responsible for using FunParty! in line with this requirement.

Retention And Access

FunParty! is not a permanent photo archive. Our standard photo-retention policy is 90 days of album hosting after the party's end date, followed by a 14-day host download grace period and permanent photo deletion. We do not offer paid extensions or renewals. See Event Photo Storage And Downloads in our Terms for details.

Scheduled photo cleanup keeps your account and event details. After photos are deleted, the event appears in Past events. The Host Hub shows the removal countdown and download deadline. Existing beta albums receive a fresh 90-day period starting October 7, 2026 (UTC), then a 14-day host download grace period; later events keep their later deadline. An administrator can exempt an account from automatic photo cleanup. That exemption does not prevent your own deletion requests or restore already-deleted photos. Hosts should download the event ZIP if they want a separate backup. Event exports include approved and hidden photos, while pending photos remain excluded until approved.

Photo deletion removes access through FunParty! Our storage provider currently keeps deleted files privately for an additional seven-day recovery period before permanently purging them. These files are not available for viewing or downloading through FunParty!

Guests can delete an approved photo they uploaded from the event gallery. For a pending photo or another removal request, contact the event host.

Beta feedback messages remain in the private administrator inbox while they are useful for product testing, support, and follow-up. Contact us if you want a feedback message associated with your account removed.

Routine hosting request and application logs are retained for 30 days under our current cloud logging settings. Google Cloud retains certain required infrastructure audit logs for 400 days. Firebase Authentication retains its own logged IP addresses for a few weeks under its service policy. Rate-limit records are scheduled for automatic deletion after their expiry; cloud deletion runs asynchronously. Account records and sign-in metadata remain while the account is active. Account deletion may retain a disabled, anonymized record to prevent deleted sessions from recreating the account.

Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your account. We may need to confirm control of the account to fulfill the request. Some records may need to remain to meet legal obligations or prevent abuse. Deleting an account does not immediately remove entries from logs that have their own retention periods.
