Privacy Policy

Privacy for private event photo sharing.

FunPartyApp is built for people 18 years of age or older. We do not direct the service to, or knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.

What We Collect

Hosts provide event details such as event name, host name, date, and age acknowledgements. Guests provide a display name, optional email, uploaded photos, optional photo messages, age/event acknowledgements, and terms acceptance records.

Who Can See Your Photos

Your photos stay inside your event. They are not posted to any public feed, are not searchable, and are not browsable by people outside the event. A photo only appears in two places: the event’s TV slideshow and the event’s in-app album — both limited to the host and guests of that event.

Photos are stored privately. The underlying image files are not publicly accessible by URL — they are served only through temporary links that expire after a short time and are issued to people viewing that specific event. There is no shared gallery, browsing screen, or search that would let anyone — including us — casually look through event photos.

Storage And Security

Photos are compressed in the browser before upload. Image files are stored in Google Cloud Storage, encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, while Firestore stores event records and storage paths. Access to the stored files is locked down by default and granted only through the short-lived links described above. Hosts can hide or delete photos from their dashboard at any time.

We operate FunPartyApp on standard cloud infrastructure, which means the service technically processes your photos in order to display, compress, moderate, and export them. We do not sell your photos, use them to train models, show them in advertising, or share them outside your event.

Minimum Age

FunPartyApp is intended for people 18 years of age or older. Hosts and guests are responsible for using FunPartyApp in line with this requirement.

Retention And Access

Event albums are hosted for a limited period. Hosts should download the album ZIP if they want a permanent copy. If you want a photo removed, ask the event host to delete it from their dashboard.
