Terms for unlisted event photo sharing.

Prohibited Uses

FunParty! is for people 18 years of age or older. Do not upload illegal, abusive, explicit, harassing, or non-consensual content.

Do not use accounts or automated tools to send spam, impersonate others, scrape private event content, bypass access controls or rate limits, or disrupt the service. Do not attempt to access another person's account or event without authorization.

Host Responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for event setup, QR sharing, attendee expectations, photo moderation, and deleting content that should not remain in the album or appear on the TV wall. Hosts are also responsible for their event, guests, venue rules, permissions, and any offline conduct connected to the event. Event access uses the guest link/QR and a TV slideshow code, so hosts are also responsible for deciding where and with whom they share those credentials.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests must only upload photos they have the right to share, and must not upload photos where a person would reasonably expect the photo not to be shared with the event host. Guests are responsible for the photos, messages, and other content they submit. Approved content may be visible in the event gallery to people with the event link and in the TV slideshow to people with the link or six-character TV code.

User Content

FunParty! does not create, verify, endorse, or pre-screen guest photos or messages. Hosts and guests are responsible for making sure uploaded content is lawful, appropriate for the event, and shared with permission from the people shown. We may remove or restrict content or access when we believe it violates these Terms, creates risk, or affects the service.

Service Administration And Enforcement

To the extent permitted by law, FunParty! may, with or without prior notice, remove, hide, restrict, disable, or delete content; suspend, terminate, or delete accounts or events; restrict or terminate access to the service; and refuse service when we believe it is reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or third parties, prevent misuse, address legal, security, or operational risks, or operate and protect the service. We are not obligated to preserve or restore removed content. Users should retain their own copies of photos and other content they wish to keep.

Privacy And Security Records

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and protect information, including IP addresses and technical logs used to operate the service, investigate suspicious activity, and prevent abuse. Sign-in through a supported provider does not mean we have independently verified a person's identity or their event.

No Event Or Safety Responsibility

FunParty! provides software for collecting and displaying event photos. We do not organize, supervise, host, staff, secure, monitor, or control any event, venue, attendee, vendor, or offline interaction. Hosts and guests remain responsible for their own decisions, conduct, safety, permissions, and compliance with applicable rules and laws.

Event Photo Storage And Downloads

FunParty! is not a permanent photo archive. Our standard hosting period is 90 days after the party's end date as scheduled when the event is created. Shared album access and uploads then end, and the host has a further 14 days to download the album if download access is included or unlocked for that event. Photos are deleted from FunParty! after this grace period, 104 days after the party's end date. Scheduled cleanup removes the photos, previews, uploaded backgrounds, and album exports. It keeps your account and event details, and moves the event to Past events. We never automatically delete accounts just because an album expires. An event created with a past end date receives its hosting period from creation. Limited private storage-provider recovery copies are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Album downloads are included for existing events and accounts where pricing is off. For new priced events, a one-time album download purchase unlocks repeat downloads for that event until its photo deletion date. We do not offer paid storage extensions, renewals, or permanent hosting. Purchases do not extend the removal date. Deleted photos cannot be recovered by paying a fee. Hosts should download and keep their own copies of any photos they want to save.

The Host Hub shows a countdown and the download deadline. Existing beta albums receive a fresh 90-day hosting period starting October 7, 2026 (UTC), followed by the 14-day download grace period. Events scheduled to end later keep their later deadline. Changing event details does not extend an already scheduled deadline. Administrators may exempt an account from scheduled photo cleanup; this is not a paid storage option or a promise of permanent hosting. If that exemption ends, remaining albums receive a fresh 90 days plus the 14-day download grace period. An exemption cannot restore deleted photos and does not prevent a host from deleting their own data.

Service Availability

FunParty! is an actively developing service provided as-is and as available. Features may change as the product evolves. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, permanently available, or that every upload, display, download, draft, or stored file will be preserved. Hosts should download event photos they want to keep.

Optional Purchases

Where pricing is enabled, the Add-ons screen shows the current price, your included features, and items you already own. Web purchases are one-time payments processed by Stripe. Discount codes are subject to their stated eligibility, expiration, and redemption limits. The final amount is shown before payment. Guests participate free. Album downloads for new priced events require a one-time event unlock.

Photo boosts raise one event's stored-photo allowance through 50, 150, 300, and 500 photos. Unused purchased boosts remain on your account without expiry until used. All themes and custom backgrounds are included. An album download unlock applies only to its event and does not purchase permanent photo hosting. Purchases do not extend the photo-deletion deadline. Deleting an account ends access to its unused boosts and albums. Contact party@funpartyapp.com for purchase or refund assistance; any rights required by applicable law continue to apply.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FunParty! and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for claims arising from user content, event conduct, attendee behavior, venue issues, third-party services, lost files, or unauthorized sharing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Indemnification

If a claim, dispute, cost, loss, or expense arises from your event, your content, your violation of these Terms, your misuse of FunParty!, or your violation of someone else's rights, you agree to defend and hold FunParty! and its operators harmless to the extent permitted by law.
